The idea of this meeting fits excellently into the philosophy of the city of Heilbronn: The close collaboration of engineers with doctors as well as the exchange of medicine with industry. Interestingly, several engineers who are actively involved in this meeting have been educated at the Institutes of Medical Informatics in Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences here in Heilbronn.
