6th SAGES NBT Innovation Weekend

For those who have attended in the past, participants know that the SAGES NBT Innovation Weekend is designed to be a different type of surgical meeting. It is a place where industry and providers can have an open dialogue about innovations in surgical technology and surgical practice.

The agenda will be structured to allow for all participants to engage in the discussion. Industry participation is welcome and attendees are encouraged to voice their opinions right next to surgeons and physicians. We want to foster comments, questions, and debate from everyone who has a reasoned viewpoint of how surgery is going to change in the next 5 to 10 years.

Once again the industry booths will be located inside the meeting room. This is set up in hopes of creating cross talk between the surgical stakeholders that could lead to new adoption of techniques from one specialty to another. Once again this year, the Thursday and Friday evening receptions will be held in the meeting room with exhibitors, for even more networking opportunity. Both days are committed to looking at advancing technologies for gastrointestinal and endoscopic surgery, and in particular, innovations focused on minimally invasive and less invasive intervention.
