Update in Advances in Nuclear Medicine

 This program will highlight how recent advances are being applied in nuclear imaging and therapy. An emphasis will be on how these techniques can be used to enhance clinical practice and patient care. Quality control and safety will also be covered, as well as how to optimize appropriate dosimetry in adults and children. Specific clinical areas to be discussed include brain, cardiovascular and cancer. Interactive reading of clinical cases will follow the didactic presentations.

Other topics that will be covered are gastrointestinal, endocrine disease, and infection. Diagnosis, staging, treatment with radiopharmaceuticals and monitoring treatment will be included. There will be ample time for questions.
